Can we use our existing transaction codes in the proof or reader/sorter operation?
Yes. It is possible to use your tran codes in the Reader/Sorter or Proof Machine Operation, then have Insite Banking System perform a conversion through a translation table of the old codes to the new. It is preferred however that you eventually switch to the Insite tran codes.
How do you put descriptions on G/L transactions that have gone through proof?
There are 120 user defined G/L tranaction codes and descriptions available if you use an
intelligent proof or reader/sorter. If you need to add a description after the transaction
has gone through proof, go into transaction entry and add a transaction description. If a
transaction is entered through CRT proof, the description can be entered at the same time
as the transaction is entered.
Our bank installed iTeller at the end of last year. Since then, we have received a lot of positive feedback from customers…When they show the receipt to other banks, they can’t believe that our bank has that kind of technology.
